No. Secrets are generated in this browser tab. Bento Tools does not send them to a server or keep a history. Copy them into your authenticator yourself.

What can I do with the otpauth URI?

Paste it into an authenticator that accepts otpauth links, or use it with tooling that builds QR codes. This page does not phone home.

Which algorithm should I pick?

SHA-1 remains the most widely supported default for authenticator apps. Prefer SHA-256 or SHA-512 when your app and server both support them.

Is OTP Secret free?

Yes. It is a free Bento Tools utility with no account required.
